Thor Guard® is a one-piece unit that encloses both the splice and the eye of the line. It offers a continuous layer of abrasion resistant material without a break in protection at the transition from the eye to the splice. The standard Thor Guard® is designed for lines 1” – 1 3/4” in diameter, with a 3 foot eye (i.e. 6 linear feet), having a mooring tail extending 7 feet from the throat of the splice.
