Chafe-Pro’s Hydraulic Hose Covers are built to protect hoses from destruction caused by long exposure to UV radiation and the elements, from cutting and chafe abrasion. The covers are constructed with a layer of the same non-porous ballistic nylon that is used in the Commercial Series models. These covers provide additional protection from leaks, should they occur, acting as a barrier to the leak spray (mist) which could result in a fire if such a mist were to come in contact with an ignitable source. These units are made to custom lengths and are removable with our traditional hook & loop closure system. They are hemmed at each end for a zip-tie closure providing added security.
